Goldleaf Paintings

There is a special fascination with japanese shoji screen paintings, especially when painted on gold. Any painting, be it a portrait, a folding screen, or other oil painting instantly aquires something special when it is done on gold. When a work is commissioned, I try to make your dreams come to life. That may very well be in a classical asian style, or something entirely different, like a portrait in oil, based on a foto source. Please inquire about individual designs. Painting on goldleaf is my passion.
